The XPEL Ultimate Plus has a 10-year warranty covering the film and our labor!
What does the XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS 10-year warranty cover?
XPEL warranties XPEL ULTIMATE Plus Paint Protection Film to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ten (10) years from the date of purchase. Covered defects include: yellowing, staining, cracking, blistering, and delaminating. This warranty does not extend coverage to damage caused by normal wear and tear, road debris impact, accidents, collisions, or intentional damage of any kind.
Does the warranty include labor to replace the film?
Yes – for customers in the United States. Reimbursement for labor charges covered by the warranty will be made directly to the Authorized XPEL Dealer performing warranty replacement. Specific rules and restrictions apply, Authorized XPEL Dealers should ask their Account Manager for specific terms and conditions.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell or trade my vehicle?
You may now transfer this limited warranty. This warranty coverage transfers if you sell or otherwise transfer a warranted product to another party. Just give the next owner the warranty card and copy of your invoice.
What is NOT covered by this limited warranty?
This limited warranty does not cover problems with a warranted product caused by normal wear and tear. It also does not cover problems with a warranted product resulting from external causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, mishandling, collision, alteration, negligence, fire, theft, vandalism, riot, explosion, natural disaster, or other acts of God. Moreover, it does not cover any problems resulting from a usage of a warranted product that is not in accordance with product instructions or resulting from a failure to follow product instructions or a failure to perform preventative maintenance to or parts replacement for your vehicle as suggested by the manufacturer in its maintenance schedule. Finally, it does not cover warranted products for which we have not yet received full payment.
This limited warranty does not apply to the quality of the installation of a warranted product on your vehicle. It also does not apply to any problems with a warranted product caused by or relating to the actions or omissions of any contractor who performs work on your vehicle, including, for example, an installer of a warranted product. For example, this limited warranty would not cover problems with a warranted product resulting from such an installer’s installation methods.

This is one of the benefits of paint protection film. It is not a permanent application, but we recommend professional removal.
The patterns are cut in-house on our plotting machines, using state-of-the-art technology. Once the excess material is removed, the areas to be covered are sprayed with installation fluid. Then, the kit is peeled away from a release liner and transferred to your car. The kit is moved into position atop the installation fluid to allow for proper alignment. Once the kit is positioned, a squeegee is used to extract the installation fluid which allows the paint protection film to adhere to the vehicle’s surface.
Film is maintained/cared for in the same fashion as clear coat. Please click on the Film Care link.
Yes. In order for us to have the best installation process possible, we are required to open a vehicle’s hood and doors and leave them open for several hours. We recommend that all clients bring their own vehicle specific battery tender so that we can insure the vehicle’s battery does not die or get damaged during the time it is being worked on.
Coatings such as these will not hurt the film or interfere with the film’s self-healing properties as long as the correct product and amount is used. Rahal Paint Protection recommends these coatings be installed over top of the film. There’s really no advantage to have the coatings installed before the film. Installing a coating before the film is installed could create adhesion issues. This could cause the film to lift along the edges.
